What Should Scrum Teams Do When Stakeholders Skip Sprint Reviews?
The team should actively seek feedback in other ways, emphasizing the importance of iteration, customer value, and early issue detection.
Metaphor
Skipping Sprint Reviews is like a band playing to an empty room but still releasing albums. Without an audience’s reaction, they miss the chance to refine their sound, adjust the setlist, or catch that the chorus falls flat.
So if stakeholders don’t show up, Scrum Teams need to take the music to them—actively seeking feedback to keep improving the product before it hits the wrong note.
