Why Is There Only One Increment at a Time?
There is only one increment at a time because the product should not have partially finished pieces. The increment always represents the whole product in its current, completed state.
Metaphor
An Increment is like the scoreboard at a game. It only shows the true score right now, not guesses or half-added points.
In the same way, the Increment is the single source of truth for the product’s current, usable state.
