When Can Increments Be Delivered to Stakeholders?

An Increment may be delivered to stakeholders at any time during the Sprint. The Sprint Review is not a gate to releasing value.

Metaphor

Delivering an Increment mid-Sprint is like streaming a show the moment a new episode drops instead of waiting for the whole season. You don’t have to hold back value just because the “scheduled viewing party” hasn’t arrived.

In Scrum, the Sprint Review serves as a checkpoint for learning, rather than a gate, allowing Increments to be shared with stakeholders whenever they’re ready to deliver impact.
