What Condition Must Work Meet to Be Considered an Increment?

Work cannot be considered part of an Increment unless it meets the Definition of Done, ensuring consistency and usability.

Metaphor

Work that hasn’t met the Definition of Done is like dough that hasn’t been baked. It might have all the right ingredients, but it’s not bread yet.

In the same way, only Done work can be considered part of the Increment, ready to provide real nourishment.
