Why Is Customer Feedback More Valuable Than Internal Stakeholder Feedback?
Internal stakeholders are not actual customers; their perspectives, though aligned, cannot replace insights from real customer experiences.
Metaphor
Customer feedback is like tasting the dish you’re cooking, while internal stakeholder feedback is just smelling it from across the kitchen. Smell can hint at what’s going on, but only the person actually eating it knows if it satisfies.
That’s why Scrum teams should prioritize customer voices, the true measure of value, over assumptions from within the organization.
