How Does Scrum Support the Connection Between Input, Output, and Outcome?

Scrum fosters a strong connection by ensuring that each Sprint produces a “Done” Increment that can be delivered to users. Feedback from users informs improvements in the next Sprint, maintaining a continuous cycle of learning and value delivery.

Metaphor

Scrum is like cooking a meal while constantly tasting it. The ingredients are your inputs, the dish-in-progress is your output, and the flavor test reveals whether the outcome will satisfy.

By tasting every Sprint, Scrum ties what you put in and what you produce directly to whether it delivers real value.
